Originally belonging to the Vanderbilt family, this magnificent residence draws inspiration from the Petit Trianon building in Versailles. What sets it apart is the extensive use of 500,000 cubic feet of marble in its construction.
The Marble House has received lots of praise from past visitors for its breathtaking water views and luxurious interior. While a few people mentioned that the tour prices were a little steep, they also pointed out that discounted entrance fees are available if you buy a bundled ticket for a two-house or five-house tour.
