It’s the perfect time to bask in the sun and take a leisurely walk along the boardwalk. The tourist season begins on May 15 and lasts until Labor Day, which falls on the first Monday of September. During the offseason, from October to April 30, the weather is cooler, with average highs ranging from 42 to 65 degrees. During this time, there are fewer restrictions on the boardwalk and beach. For instance, dogs are allowed on the beach, although not on the boardwalk, and the boardwalk bike hours are extended.
