Museum of Science

When you’re traveling with children, make sure to visit the Museum of Science. It offers a wide range of educational opportunities for kids, covering subjects like astronomy, earth sciences, and anatomy. They can even take part in interactive exhibits that are both fun and informative. For example, there’s the “Arctic Adventure: Exploring with Technology” exhibit, where young scientists can explore the Arctic region. Another exciting exhibit is “Science in the Park,” which uses swings to teach children about physics. Don’t miss the Charles Hayden Planetarium, where you can experience what it’s like to be an astronaut through fascinating shows. And at the Mugar Omni Theater, you’ll feel fully immersed in IMAX films with its state-of-the-art sound technology and enormous five-story projection screen.

The museum is designed with kids in mind, but don’t be fooled! Adults and teenagers can also have a great time here. The displays and shows are interactive and exciting. Many visitors suggest spending at least half a day exploring the museum, but if you’re up for it, you can easily spend a whole day here. Keep in mind that certain attractions within the museum require separate tickets, such as IMAX films, planetarium shows, and the Garden Walk and Insect Zoo, and they cost extra.
