Grant Park, often called “Chicago’s front yard,” is a large green space covering approximately 313 acres. It extends from the eastern edge of the Loop to the northern fringes of the Near South Side. When visiting Grant Park for the first time, make sure to allocate enough time because there are numerous popular attractions to explore. These include The Field Museum, the Art Institute of Chicago, and Shedd Aquarium. Millennium Park is also adjacent to the northwest corner of Grant Park. In addition to these attractions, you’ll find baseball diamonds, beautiful flower gardens, tranquil walking paths, and vast open grassy areas to enjoy.
