The Garfield Park Conservatory is a massive botanical conservatory located in the United States. It boasts a collection of thousands of plant species, which are carefully nurtured and displayed in eight beautiful indoor gardens. In addition to its impressive indoor exhibits, the conservatory also features 10 acres of stunning outdoor gardens for visitors to explore.

Welcome to our beautiful conservatory, where each indoor space has its own unique focus. Let me introduce you to these wonderful areas.

In the Aroid House, you’ll find a fascinating collection of the popular houseplant species known as Aroids. These plants are beloved by many and are sure to captivate your attention. As an added bonus, we proudly showcase exquisite sculptures created by the renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly, exclusively designed for this very house.

Discover the wonders of the desert in our Desert House, home to a splendid array of cacti and succulents. Immerse yourself in their extraordinary shapes and textures as you explore this arid wonderland.

Step into the Fern Room and be greeted by a serene sight: carefully arranged ferns encircling an indoor lagoon. This tranquil oasis provides a perfect escape from the bustling city outside, allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature.

Prepare to be amazed by the Palm House, our largest structure within the conservatory. Here, we have recreated a lush tropical landscape, complete with over 70 majestic palm trees. Lose yourself in the vibrant greenery and feel the warmth of a tropical paradise enveloping you.

Our youngest visitors are not forgotten! The Elizabeth Morse Genius Children’s Garden is dedicated to teaching little ones about the enchanting world of plants. Through interactive displays and engaging activities, we aim to inspire a love for nature in the hearts of our future gardeners.

Take a moment to relax and rejuvenate in Horticulture Hall. Marvel at the diverse range of flowers and plants on display, and when you need a break, feel free to rest at one of our comfortable tables. It’s the perfect spot to catch your breath and soak in the beauty around you.
