360 CHICAGO Observation Deck

Chicago’s skyline is a famous sight, and to truly appreciate it, you must visit the 360 CHICAGO Observation Deck. Previously called the John Hancock Observatory, this impressive attraction sits on the 94th floor of the John Hancock Center (also known as 875 North Michigan Avenue). With its floor-to-ceiling windows, 360 CHICAGO offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city. On a clear day, you can even spot landmarks from four different states. The observation deck also provides interactive screens to help you identify the various points of interest in your view.

Looking for a thrilling experience and a fresh perspective? Give TILT at 360 CHICAGO a try! This unique room will get your adrenaline pumping as you hold on to handlebars while the windows extend outward, tilting you towards the lively North Michigan Avenue below. If you’re in the mood for a different kind of immersive experience, check out CloudWalk. This captivating 3D art installation, introduced in 2022 by mural artist Nate Baranowski, creates an optical illusion on the observation deck that gives you the sensation of standing on a crane platform among the clouds. And don’t worry if you prefer a more relaxed way to enjoy the view – you can grab a cup of coffee, a glass of wine, or a snack at the cafe and bar, or browse for souvenirs in the gift shop.
