A place like no other near Maui in Hawaii
In the Kipahulu District of Haleakala National Park, there is a beautiful place called the Seven Sacred Pools, also known as the Pools of ‘Ohe’o in ‘Ohe’o Gulch. Despite the name, there are actually more than seven pools in this area. These pools are filled by small waterfalls that flow down the gulch. To get there, you will need to take a short half-mile hike on the Kuloa Point Trail starting from the visitor center. Along the trail, you will have the opportunity to see the pools, enjoy views of the ocean, and explore some archeological sites. Remember, swimming in the pools is not allowed, but you can still admire their beauty from the trail.
