Enjoy it while visiting Atlanta in Georgia
The Margaret Mitchell House, located in Midtown Atlanta, is a must-visit for fans of the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel “Gone with the Wind.” Although Margaret Mitchell and her husband didn’t occupy the entire house, they lived in a first-floor apartment that the author affectionately referred to as “the dump.” Even though it’s not directly on the grounds of the Atlanta History Center, taking a brief tour of this historical site is definitely worth it.
