Atlanta BeltLine

The Atlanta BeltLine is an ongoing project that aims to create a citywide network for people to explore. It consists of 22 miles of streetcar rails, 33 miles of trails for walking, biking, and more, as well as over 1,000 acres of newly developed or revitalized greenspace. The project also includes the construction of 5,600 units of affordable housing. The city plans to complete the entire system by 2030, but currently, visitors can already enjoy 10 parks and 8 trails along the BeltLine. These include attractions such as the Historic Fourth Ward Skatepark, which offers skateboarding obstacles for all skill levels, and the Historic Fourth Ward Park, a 17-acre greenspace with amenities like a splash pad for kids. Other parks like Gordon White Park, Perkerson Park, and Westside Park offer various activities such as music events, fitness classes, and sports facilities. The paved trails are perfect for bike rides or leisurely walks, and they pass by notable places like Ponce City Market and Piedmont Park. To learn more about the Atlanta BeltLine and the communities it connects, you can join walking or bike tours available in the area.

The BeltLine paths are widely loved by travelers who find them to be an ideal spot for outdoor activities. Among these paths, the Eastside Trail stands out as a favorite among visitors. Its convenient proximity to bars, restaurants, and vibrant street art makes it a delightful destination.
