Mote Laboratory & Aquarium is a unique place that combines research and an aquarium experience. It showcases nine captivating exhibits, including two interactive areas and an impressive shark tank with a capacity of 135,000 gallons. Within its premises, you can encounter over 100 different species of marvelous marine animals, like sea turtles, otters, and manatees. Excitingly, a 10th exhibit is set to open in late February, featuring American crocodiles, alligators, and caimans.
Visitors who have been to this aquarium recently had a great time. They loved seeing all the different animals and found it easy to find their way around. However, some people mentioned that during the winter months, it can get very crowded, so it’s a good idea to come early. A few others mentioned that they thought the entrance fees were a bit high considering the size of the aquarium.
