Sanibel Island Farmers Market

The seasonal farmers market on Sanibel Island, known for its more than 50 vendors, has temporarily moved from its usual location at Sanibel City Hall grounds. Since January 2023, it has been operating with a smaller setup of 15 vendors in the parking lot of Jerry’s Foods on Periwinkle Way. The owners plan to return to the market’s original location once they receive approval from the city.

At the market, you’ll find a delightful assortment of goods. Local farmers bring in fresh organic produce and other items from nearby fields. There are also stands and food trucks offering delicious ready-made food. You can discover a range of delights such as cheese, local seafood, colorful flowers, vibrant plants, sweet honey, refreshing beverages, tasty baked goods, unique crafts, and a diverse selection of products. Visitors love the wide variety available. Many couldn’t get enough of the freshly made guacamole, which was a definite crowd-pleaser.
