Blind Pass Beach

One more place to enjoy near Sanibel Island in Florida

Blind Pass Beach

Blind Pass Beach, located on both Sanibel and Captiva islands, was one of the first two public beach accesses to reopen in February 2023 after hurricane recovery. This beach offers a wonderful experience with activities like shell hunting, fishing from the bridge, sunbathing, and enjoying beautiful sunsets. However, it’s important to note that swimming is not recommended due to the strong currents in Blind Pass. Despite this, many vacationers still love this beach for its stunning beauty and remarkable collection of shells. It’s worth mentioning that parking can be a bit challenging, and the facilities, which include restrooms and outdoor showers on the Captiva side, are considered average by visitors.
