A place like no other near Key Largo in Florida

This wonderful place consists of two facilities: an animal hospital that takes care of injured birds and a sanctuary called the Laura Quinn Wild Bird Sanctuary, which is home to over 90 birds spanning 40 different species. Unfortunately, these birds are unable to return to the wild due to their sustained injuries. Thankfully, the sanctuary provides them with humane and natural enclosures where they can live comfortably for the rest of their lives. As a visitor, you can take a self-guided tour through the sanctuary’s habitat, where you’ll have the opportunity to observe a variety of birds such as hawks, owls, pelicans, vultures, herons, and many more. It’s important to note that while the sanctuary is open to the public, the animal hospital section is only accessible if you’re dropping off an injured bird.
