A place like no other near Santa Monica in California
The Santa Monica Pier is a famous landmark located from the intersection of Colorado Boulevard and Ocean Front Walk to a point above Santa Monica Bay. It’s known for being the end point of Route 66 and can be seen in many photos of the city, as well as in movies like “Forrest Gump.” The pier offers various attractions, such as a historic carousel housed in the Looff Hippodrome, the Heal the Bay Aquarium, and Pacific Park. At Pacific Park, you can enjoy arcade games, rides, and food stalls.
The Santa Monica Pier is highly recommended by previous travelers. It offers a delightful experience with its charming eateries and splendid views. Nonetheless, some recent visitors were disappointed by the large number of people at the pier and the presence of homeless individuals.
