Enjoy it while visiting Los Angeles in California
The Petersen Automotive Museum is a fantastic place for car enthusiasts. You’ll find an impressive collection of cars, ranging from high-performance vehicles to historic classics. Explore the permanent galleries and enjoy thrilling experiences like trying out a racing simulator. Don’t miss the opportunity to see the famous “Commutercycle” featured in the HBO documentary “The Lady and the Dale.” And if you’re a fan of Disney’s “Cars,” you can take part in hands-on activities with a fun theme inspired by the movie.
There are always new things to discover at the museum, as they frequently rotate their featured exhibitions. Additionally, there’s something special about The Vault, where they store an extra 250 cars that aren’t on display in the main galleries. It’s like a hidden treasure trove for car lovers!
Besides exploring the impressive car collection, the Petersen Automotive Museum also hosts various events throughout the year. From exhibition openings to engaging hands-on workshops, there’s always something exciting happening. If you want to stay updated on upcoming events, make sure to check out their online calendar for more information.
Please note the following admission prices: $19.95 for adults, $12.95 for youth aged 12 to 17, and $10.95 for children aged 4 to 11. If you wish to tour The Vault and you’re 12 years or older, there will be an additional fee of $25 (children aged 4 to 11 will need to pay an extra $10).
