Jackson Hole Winery

Nestled at the base of the Teton Mountains, this exceptional winery sits more than 6,000 feet above sea level, holding the distinction of being one of the highest wineries in the country. The journey begins in Sonoma, California, where the grapes are cultivated. They are then carefully transported to Jackson Hole, where the winemaking process commences. The visionary behind this winery sought to explore the art of winemaking at high altitudes, where the air contains 18% less oxygen, resulting in a slower fermentation process. The outcome has been met with enthusiastic acclaim from visitors who have marveled at the remarkable quality of the wines. Additionally, these guests have appreciated the wide range of wine options and praised the sommeliers’ expertise. For an unparalleled experience, the tasting room awaits within a charming rustic barn. Outside, picnic tables and chairs invite visitors to bask in the breathtaking mountain views.

You can visit the winery all summer long, except on Tuesdays. The operating hours are from 12 to 5 p.m. In winter, the winery is open from Thursday to Sunday, between 12 and 4:30 p.m. To enjoy a tasting, you will need to make an appointment in advance. Feel free to bring your own snacks and utensils if you’d like to have something to eat. Tastings are priced at $30 per person for groups of up to seven people. For larger groups, consisting of more than seven people, the cost is $40 per person.
