Menors Ferry Historic District

When you step into the Menors Ferry Historic District, get ready to go back in time to the Wild West era. Around the year 1900, William (Bill) D. Menor settled by the Snake River and constructed a ferry that carried people across the river. What made Menor’s ferry unique was its ability to move sideways in the river, unlike other ferries. In addition to well-preserved barns and cabins from the 19th century, the district also boasts a functioning general store.
