A place like no other near Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming
One of the park’s busiest trails is this one, and it’s popular for a great reason. When you reach the summit, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of Jenny Lake and the mountains around it. To start your adventure, hike 2 miles from the boat dock on the southeast side of Jenny Lake until you reach the junction with the Cascade Canyon trail. Alternatively, you can choose to take a boat across Jenny Lake from the base of Mount Teewinot to the Cascade Canyon trailhead, which will save you from the initial 2-mile hike.
Once you arrive at the trailhead, get ready for an enjoyable hike to Hidden Falls. The waterfall is truly breathtaking with a majestic 100-foot drop. Take a moment to appreciate the rushing waters before continuing your ascent. As you make your way past the impressive towering firs and cross wooden bridges, you’ll encounter a narrow rocky section. Finally, after some effort, you’ll reach the pinnacle of Inspiration Point. From this remarkable vantage point, perched at an elevation of 7,200 feet, you’ll experience a sensation of being on top of the world. The roundtrip distance to Inspiration Point from the Cascade Canyon junction is 1.8 miles. To fully savor the tranquility of this popular trail, it’s recommended to visit early in the morning, preferably before 9 a.m.
