A place like no other near Dallas in Texas
The Crow Museum of Asian Art is located in the Dallas Arts District. It showcases a diverse collection of artworks from China, Japan, India, Korea, and Southeast Asia. The museum houses over 1,000 artworks and boasts an extensive library with over 12,000 books, catalogs, and journals. Additionally, visitors can explore a charming sculpture garden featuring both historical and contemporary pieces surrounded by a serene landscape of bamboo, maples, azaleas, and pine trees.
Trammell and Margaret Crow, a Dallas couple who had a great fondness for Asian art and culture, owned the museum’s permanent collection. They developed this collection through their numerous trips to China, which they embarked on more than twelve times during their lifetime. In 1998, they fulfilled their aspiration of spreading their passion for Asian art and culture by establishing the museum for the enjoyment of both locals and visitors.
