The center comprises three galleries showcasing various crafts, along with a bookstore, a parkway information desk, a library, and the renowned Allanstand Craft Shop, which holds the distinction of being the oldest of its kind in the country. Visitors can witness craft demonstrations from March to December. If you find yourself in Asheville during July or October, don’t miss the Craft Fair of the Southern Highlands.
