Getting to Hanauma Bay is easy! You can either take an Uber or drive yourself (parking costs $3), but please note that tour buses are not allowed. Children who are 12 years old and younger, active military personnel, and Hawaiian residents (known as kama’aina) can enter for free with a valid state ID. To secure your tickets, you need to reserve them online and pay in advance through the Honolulu Parks & Recreation website. Due to conservation efforts, there is a limit on the number of visitors allowed per day, which has led to some difficulties in getting reservations according to recent travelers.
