A place like no other near St. Petersburg in Florida

St. Pete Pier

Since the 19th century, various piers have appeared along the St. Pete waterfront, often coexisting simultaneously. In 2020, a new pier was unveiled, replacing the unique inverted pyramid structure that had stood there before. This expansive pier spans 26 acres and offers a park-like atmosphere with playgrounds, green spaces, eateries, shops, a splash pad, beach access, and public art.

The pier offered a wide range of entertainment choices which were greatly enjoyed by recent visitors. They appreciated the fact that it maintained a genuine public space atmosphere, even with the presence of numerous restaurants and shopping options. Opinions among locals were divided, with some expressing disappointment over the demolition of the old pier, while others supported the decision.
