One more place to enjoy near St. Augustine in Florida
The St. Augustine Wild Reserve is a nonprofit sanctuary that offers a unique opportunity to observe exotic animals up close. Back in 1995, it was founded with the purpose of providing a safe haven for rescued exotic animals. At this remarkable facility, you can encounter a variety of fascinating creatures, including mountain lions, bears, ligers (which are hybrid offspring of a male lion and a female tiger), and leopards.
The St. Augustine Wild Reserve has received positive feedback from past visitors who appreciated how well the animals are taken care of and the helpful volunteers who provide information. If you plan to capture pictures of the animals, please remember to leave your camera at the hotel. It’s important to note that photography, including the use of cellphones, is not permitted on the premises.
