Enjoy it while visiting St. Augustine in Florida
St. Augustine has a rich past tied to piracy, and the St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum presents tales from those adventurous buccaneers. Inside the museum, visitors can explore an array of pirate relics such as the oldest “Wanted” poster ever discovered, the only pirate treasure chest in existence, and one of two remaining 17th-century Jolly Roger flags (the iconic black flag with a skull and crossbones). Additionally, a replica pirate ship equipped with a helm and cannons awaits travelers at the heart of the museum.
The attraction at the museum has been described by recent visitors as enjoyable and engaging. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the limited space, noting that it can become crowded. As a result, they felt that the admission fee, which is on the higher side, did not justify their experience.
